Actors

I have now chosen my two main actors to be featured in the trailer, I believe these people fit the theme and genre well. They will be able to resemble the kind of characters I wanted in my trailer from all my ideas. The female character will be played by Alba and the male played by Theo. There will also be a few background characters that will be of a similar age to the main characters.

Institution Research

From looking into production companies I have found these two would be mostly likely to produce my film. They've produced similar films to mine that are independent and of a low budget which means thay would be appropriate production companies for my film.

Locations

When thinking about locations for my film I have had to make a decision on what locations will fit my genre but also the weather and locations that could unexpectedly change as a lot of my filming will need to be outside.

My first location is Nonsuch Park:

I like this location as it's fairly big so if one scene fails to look as planned another section of the park may look better and more professional. As a lot of my trailer is outside I can use this location for the beginning of my trailer where the tone and atmosphere of the characters is free. 

Second location is a house: 

This location has the bedroom and dining table in which would be used for the more serious scenes in the trailer. I will be able to change the lighting and positioning of props easily in this location and so the shots here should be easier to film. 

Third Location is a cabin: 

This location could potentially be changed for different scenes to look like more than one location, I can move and add props and decorations so that it looks different each time. 

Fourth Location is Ruskin Drive:

I have chosen to use this road in particular because at night the street lights are very bright but also very coloured, this is the lighting I need to pull off certain shots in my trailer. 

The locations I have chosen are all quite close to me so that if I need to re-film any shots it's easy for me to do to make my trailer look more professional.

Diary Entry #4

I've been thinking a lot about my trailer and what to include. I have decided to start planning by choosing what type of locations, actors and costumes I will include and also by thinking about what shots I am going to try produce.

Audience Feedback Of Storyboard

After receiving my feedback I realised that there was more too add to this trailer in order for it to be successful, mostly it was more footage. I have more ideas that I will add into my first draft which I will then post onto Facebook to gain more feedback.

Diary Entry #3

Earlier today I used the software Garageband to practise creating a piece of music using the software. I found garage band quite easy to use and think that this will be perfect for creating the final soundtrack that will go with my trailer. I played around with some of the sounds and found a few I thought could maybe fit my genre and theme of my trailer, once I have filmed and created my trailer I shall go back to Garageband to create the soundtrack.
